The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. It features durable, adaptable open shelves adjustable at 1" increments for flexibility. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The shelving unit uses sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. The system allows easy assembly with snap-in components without bolts, nuts, or clips, facilitating quick set-up and simple expansion by joining add-on units for increased stability with less construction effort. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, while the wire mesh decking ships in two pieces and permits ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water to pass throughout racks, improving fire safety.
