The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The unit offers easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The system accommodates various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any facility area, and its open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints and eliminating back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T-posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability, and the wire decking enables ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass throughout racks easily, improving fire safety and reducing insurance premiums. Wire mesh ships in two pieces.
