The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage area across retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The kit includes sturdy roll-formed 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, with open shelves that are adjustable at these intervals. The open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility and easy assembly without bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway, creating a structurally secure joint. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and the included wire decking ships in two pieces, providing ventilation, visibility, and light penetration. This design also facilitates sprinkler water flow throughout the racks, enhancing fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums. The shelving offers various heights, widths, and depths to fit numerous facility areas and allows for easy expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
