The SC Preferred 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage space with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable roll-formed steel framing and sturdy 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, with double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility. The shelving unit supports retail, commercial, and industrial applications and includes wire decking that offers ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass through, enhancing fire safety. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and the double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The wire mesh ships in two pieces and the finish is a chip resistant gray baked enamel. The shelving is easy to assemble with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and expansion is simplified by joining units with more stability than bolting two starter units together.
