The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the unit is easy to assemble with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. The wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, and facilitates sprinkler water flow for improved fire safety and reduced insurance premiums.
