The SC Preferred 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level and is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing customizable storage options. The kit includes sturdy 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely with double rivet button stud construction to eliminate back and side sway, and wire mesh decking that ships in two pieces. The shelving features a durable chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation, and an open design allowing four side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is quick and easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass through easily to improve fire safety.
