The SC Preferred 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The shelving system features durable roll-formed steel framing with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments for customizable shelf height. The open wire mesh decking, which ships in two pieces, allows for ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water passage to enhance fire safety. The unit offers four-side access with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load and a double rivet button stud construction that securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
