The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, allowing for customizable storage configurations. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner post with double rivet button stud construction, ensuring structural security and eliminating back and side sway. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The wire decking included promotes ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, while allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily, enhancing fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability and aesthetics. The add-on units are easy to assemble with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and can be joined to make expansion simple and stable with less construction compared to bolting two starter units together. The wire mesh ships in two pieces.
