The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial applications, providing durable and adaptable storage with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features adjustable open shelves at 1" increments and an open design allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility. The shelving is made of sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments. The wire mesh decking allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water passage for improved fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The wire mesh ships in two pieces.
