The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments to accommodate various heights, widths, and depths, allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner posts for a structurally secure joint, preventing back and side sway, all finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. The wire decking ships in two pieces and allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and easy sprinkler water flow throughout racks, enhancing fire safety. Assembly is easy without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips, relying on snap-in components and roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation. The shelving system is designed to join add-on units with more stability and less construction effort than bolting starter units together.
