The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility, and easy assembly is achieved with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability, while the wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration; sprinkler water passes throughout racks easily, improving fire safety and lowering insurance premiums. The wire mesh ships in two pieces.
