The SC Preferred 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for flexible configuration. The shelving system offers easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Sturdy roll-formed 14 GA steel framing includes 2" x 1" uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, providing maximum support. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, while the double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Included wire decking allows for ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, with sprinkler water passing through racks easily to improve fire safety and potentially lower insurance premiums. The wire mesh ships in two pieces.
