The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage space, supporting up to 1200 lbs. per level. It is suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial environments, featuring adjustable open shelves that move in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The shelving unit offers easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. It is constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing with chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers along with double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into corner posts to prevent sway. The open design provides four-side access and the wire decking is shipped in two pieces, allowing ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while enabling sprinkler water to pass through easily for enhanced fire safety. The front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded.
