The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial settings. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and features durable, open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments for adaptable storage needs. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched at 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into corner posts using a double rivet button stud construction, providing a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full loads. The wire decking, which ships in two pieces, allows for ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, as well as easy passage of sprinkler water to improve fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. The easy assembly design requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, relying on snap-in components for quick setup and enabling stable expansion by joining units with less construction effort than bolting starter units.
