The SC Preferred 5 Shelf Standard Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The durable and adaptable shelving features open shelves adjustable at 1" increments, with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports that prevent beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. This starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire mesh decking, which ships in two pieces, allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water to pass easily throughout the racks, improving fire safety. The shelving system offers easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
