The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The shelving features durable and adaptable open shelves adjustable at 1" increments, made from rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA roll-formed steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams for maximum support and structural security. The open design allows four side access and includes front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, using double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into the corner post, eliminating back and side sway. Wire decking ships in two pieces and provides ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and enables sprinkler water to pass throughout the racks, enhancing fire safety. The finish is chip resistant gray baked enamel. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
