The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, offering durable and adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The open design provides four side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, with wire decking shipped in two pieces. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing, front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation, and double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability, while the wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, enabling sprinkler water to pass through easily to improve fire safety. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
