The SC Preferred 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage space with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial environments. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the unit is available in various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any facility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double-riveted horizontal beams, and wire decking that ships in two pieces. Assembly is simple with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under load. Its double rivet button stud construction locks beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and facilitates sprinkler water flow for improved fire safety.
