The SC Preferred 4 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial settings, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips, allowing easy assembly with snap-in components. The durable roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and allow four side access for maximum flexibility. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, while the wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and efficient sprinkler water passage for fire safety.
