The SC Preferred 4 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. It features durable roll-formed steel framing with rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, providing sturdy support and stability. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments and allow four side access for maximum flexibility. The package includes a starter unit with wire decking, which ships in two pieces, allowing ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while enabling sprinkler water to pass through for improved fire safety. The snap-in components enable easy assembly without bolts, nuts, or clips, and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The unit is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating.
