The SC Preferred 5 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, along with double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, while the wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water passage to improve fire safety. Easy assembly is achieved with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The frame is constructed of sturdy roll-formed steel with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and it has a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish. The wire mesh ships in two pieces.
