The SC Preferred 5 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths. It has a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and features open shelves adjustable in 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts for a secure joint, and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation. The open design allows four-side access, and wire decking enhances ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through for improved fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the wire mesh ships in two pieces.
