The SC Preferred 4 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, providing durable and adaptable storage with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The unit features open shelves adjustable at 1" increments and offers four-side access for maximum flexibility. The shelving includes sturdy, roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The wire decking, which ships in two pieces, allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while enabling sprinkler water to pass through easily, improving fire safety. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
