The SC Preferred 4 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, along with wire mesh decking that ships in two pieces. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and incorporates sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support. Front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation under full load, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The open design provides four-side access for maximum flexibility, while wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water passage to improve fire safety and potentially lower insurance premiums. Easy assembly is achieved with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
