The SC Preferred 3 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage suited for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces with adjustable open shelves at 1" increments. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. Easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components and sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking, shipped in two pieces, provides ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through racks easily, improving fire safety and reducing insurance premiums.
