The SC Preferred 5 Shelf, Standard Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum weight capacity of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. It features open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, with snap-in components allowing easy assembly without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy construction includes 2" x 1" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts, preventing back and side sway and rotation under load. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and fire safety by allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily. The package includes wire mesh shipped in two pieces, and the shelving unit offers four side access for maximum flexibility.
