The SC Preferred 5 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. It offers durable and adaptable storage with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction to eliminate back and side sway. The wire decking ships in two pieces and provides ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and easy passage of sprinkler water, enhancing fire safety. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports prevents beam rotation under full load. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel.
