The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, with dimensions accommodating various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any facility area. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into the corner posts via double rivet button stud construction to prevent back and side sway, providing structural stability without nuts, bolts, or clips required for assembly. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing supports maximum weight, and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish offers durability, while wire decking ensures ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily to improve fire safety and reduce insurance premiums. This boltless design allows easy expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
