The SC Preferred™ 3 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize your storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beams from rotating under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The wire decking allows for ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, and sprinkler water passes throughout racks easily to improve fire safety. The unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and is easy to assemble with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. This open design allows four-side access and supports easy expansion, providing more stability with less construction than bolting two starter units together.
