The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial storage applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level. The unit features durable roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint to eliminate back and side sway. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and include rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, along with double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically. Its chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. The wire decking allows for ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, while also permitting sprinkler water to pass throughout racks easily, improving fire safety. The shelving is easy to assemble with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and its open design allows four-sided access for greater flexibility. Expansion is simplified by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
