The SC Preferred 4 shelf, heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications. The durable and adaptable storage features open shelves adjustable at 1" increments for customized spacing. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts with double rivet button stud construction, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access, providing maximum flexibility, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The wire decking, which ships in two pieces, allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, and permits sprinkler water to pass throughout racks for improved fire safety. The entire unit is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel and offers easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
