The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy-duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial settings, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments, with open shelves also adjustable in 1" increments. The open design provides four-side access for maximum flexibility, while the wire decking, which ships in two pieces, allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, and facilitates sprinkler water flow for enhanced fire safety. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The system has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and enables easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
