The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility. It includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint to eliminate back and side sway. The shelving uses sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Easy assembly is enabled by snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking comes in two pieces, allowing ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water to pass through easily, enhancing fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums.
