The SC Preferred™ 3 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level and durable, adaptable construction suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves adjust at 1" increments and feature an open design allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The kit includes rugged 14-gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts through double rivet button stud construction to form a structurally secure joint, preventing back and side sway. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, while wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water to pass through easily, improving fire safety. The shelving is designed for easy expansion and joining of units with greater stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
