The SC Preferred 4 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Add On with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial applications. It features durable roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction securing perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, with rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish provides durability, while the wire decking ensures ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily for enhanced fire safety. The shelving units are easy to assemble without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components, and offer four-side access for maximum flexibility. Expansion is simplified by joining add-on units with greater stability and less construction compared to bolting two starter units together.
