The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial applications to maximize storage capacity. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. The unit features adjustable open shelves at 1" increments to provide durable, adaptable storage across various heights, widths, and depths. It includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into the corner posts, preventing back and side sway and enhancing structural stability without the use of bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving system incorporates sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports that prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily for improved fire safety. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. The shelving units are designed for easy assembly with snap-in components, facilitating expansion and providing greater stability compared to bolting starter units together.
