The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring durable and adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The shelving unit offers an open design allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility and includes a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, enabling quick expansion and stable joining of multiple units. The sturdy construction includes roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each add-on unit comes with rugged 14 GA steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable in 1" increments. Wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through racks easily, enhancing fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums.
