The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial settings. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. The shelves are open and adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for adaptable storage configurations. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The open design provides four-side access and includes wire mesh decking, which enhances ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through for improved fire safety. The durable, roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks the perimeter beams into corner posts to create structurally secure joints and eliminate back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish provides added durability. Assembly is simple with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, making expansion easy with greater stability than bolting starter units together. The wire mesh ships in two pieces.
