The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into the corner post for a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, with rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking, which ships in two pieces, allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and facilitates sprinkler water flow through the racks, improving fire safety. The shelving unit assembles easily without bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components, offering flexibility with open four-side access and making expansion simple by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
