The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level, making it durable and adaptable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. It features open shelves adjustable in 1" increments and an open design that allows four side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, providing sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, with sprinkler water passing through the racks easily to improve fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability. The shelving system offers easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, facilitating quick setup and allowing units to be joined for expansion with greater stability than bolting two starter units together.
