The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. It features durable, adaptable open shelves that adjust in 1" increments and provide four-side access for maximum flexibility. The shelving unit is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports that prevent beam rotation under full load. Its double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The shelving incorporates wire decking to enhance ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and fire safety by allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily, potentially lowering insurance premiums. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability, and assembly is simplified with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. This design also facilitates expansion by joining units with greater stability and less construction effort than bolting two starter units together.
