The SC Preferred™ 3 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, providing adaptability for various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility area. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams, which lock into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction to form structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The open design enables four-sided access, and wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while facilitating sprinkler water passage for improved fire safety and potentially lower insurance premiums. The gray baked enamel finish is chip resistant. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components for quick set-up and allowing expansion by joining units with increased stability compared to bolting starter units together.
