The SC Preferred™ 4 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Add On with wire shelving is designed to maximize your storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers as well as double riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner posts using double rivet button stud construction to form a structurally secure joint, preventing back and side sway. The shelving features durable roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The open design allows for four-side access, wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass through easily for improved fire safety. The unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. This shelving add on enables straightforward expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
