The SC Preferred 3 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with wire decking is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial storage applications, featuring a max storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable at 1" increments, providing durable and adaptable storage with open shelves that allow four-side access for maximum flexibility. The open design and wire decking enable ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily, enhancing fire safety. The shelving unit is constructed with roll-formed steel framing and double rivet button stud joints that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway for structural security. It has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and features easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
