The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, complemented by wire decking which allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while enabling sprinkler water to pass through easily for improved fire safety. The shelving has a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint eliminating back and side sway. The open design allows access from all four sides, providing maximum flexibility, and the assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, while the wire mesh ships in two pieces.
