The SC Preferred 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. It features adjustable open shelves at 1" increments and an open design allowing four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway and forming a structurally secure joint. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, along with double-riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking is included to allow ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, while enabling sprinkler water to pass through easily, improving fire safety and reducing insurance costs. Easy assembly is achieved with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The wire mesh for the decking ships in two pieces.
