The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features adjustable open shelves at 1" increments and includes durable 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers along with double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into corner posts to prevent back and side sway. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation under full loads. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, while the wire decking, which ships in two pieces, allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and easy sprinkler water passage, improving fire safety.
