The SC Preferred 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts via button stud construction to eliminate back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access for flexibility, and wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and improved sprinkler water flow for fire safety. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The wire mesh ships in two pieces. The product is designed for use in retail, commercial, and industrial applications.
