The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features adjustable open shelves at 1" increments and an open design allowing four side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that secure perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. The wire decking ships in two pieces and enables ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water passage for improved fire safety. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Assembly is easy without bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components, and the chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability.
