The SC Preferred 3-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the kit includes sturdy 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, along with double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction to prevent back and side sway. The open four-side access design provides maximum flexibility, while wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water to pass through easily, enhancing fire safety. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, durable roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and easy snap-in assembly with no nuts, bolts, or clips required.
